I’ve worked like crazy the last few days to be able to show you these pictures. I haven’t seen this much FLOOR showing in weeks!!! I’m liking it too!!!
I had my hubby put my door back on the hinges. No, it hasn’t been painted yet, but I’m making a list of projects that can be completed in a few hours and it made the cut!!
I rearranged a few shelves on my oak bookcase so the containers fit better. When I sell Miss Saucy Walker and go through that box she’s laying on and go through those snap cases, things might change again.
A few ladies wondered who was laying next to the girls in the new stand I made…

Why, it’s Ten Ping and Navi… my two tiniest girls!
My long dresser with all the drawers looks very bare right now. It’s been so cluttered, I’m enjoying the bare top but had to do a little “decorating” with a dolly prop. My hubby is going to put the little wood piece on the wall to hold my cutting board in place.
I had some blue spray paint left so I sprayed the brown centers of these baskets sitting on top of my fabric bookshelf. I need one more “something” up there to hide that “brown” wood door!! :o)

I cleaned off my white pieces of furniture except for a few things.
The bookshelves in the corner area are filled now…as neatly and orderly as I could.
I have my tulle for making slips on one shelf.
I ended up buying under-the-bed cubes to use for sorting my fabrics. I still need to go through them but for now,they are fairly easy to get to.
Nyssa and Hope, my Kaye Wiggs dolls, are in their box on the next shelf.
Velvet and dressier Christmas fabrics are in the tub with the red lid.
My books are on the top shelf on the other bookcase.
Patterns are in baskets and in notebooks.
The next shelf has some miscellaneous stuff that still needs to be gone through.
Pattern books are next and a bunch of doll magazines are below.
I brought in my ironing board and iron, getting ready for “you know what!!!”
I still have this section to work on…it shouldn’t take much time.
Look at this…I had to hem some pants for Rebecca, SO I had to get my machine plugged in and see if I remembered how to sew…
I found one pair of my reading glasses, my machine did its job and I DID REMEMBER how to sew!!!
I’ll hurry!!!
I stood back and took a (wavy) panoramic shot from my doorway and am amazed that this is MY sewing room! I never could have imagined it to be this pretty, this functional and TAKE THIS LONG TO COMPLETE! I still have to get my new sewing table made… It’s what started this whole renovation…it, and a crummy wall and pretty much rotting corner! A HUGE thank you to my hubby for all his patience and YOU all for hanging around to see it finished. There will be more pictures as I get things going.
