With Canada Day being on a Sunday, most places are closed today as well, as part of the 'Holiday Weekend'. So to celebrate some more, I thought I'd post some of my favourite doll photos from our travels across this vast country of ours.
Beign in southern Ontario, we are somewhat centrally located, so I'll start there.....with one of Ontario's most famous attractions....Niagara Falls....
Heading northward, the beautiful red granite shoreline of Georgian Bay, Lake Huron....
The spectacular fall foliage in Lake Superior country....
Prairie winds in Manitoba.....
Grain elevators in Saskatchewan....
Vast wheat fields in Alberta...
The Rockies at Waterton lakes, southern Alberta....
More majestic Rockies, at Lake Edith Cavell in jasper, Alberta....
The 'desert' in central British Columbia.....
In Victoria, on Vancouver Island....
Hiking in the Rainforest at Pacific Rim...
Along the Pacific Ocean on Vancouver Island...
Then we head east from Ontario into Quebec. Mostly we just drive through on our way to the Maritimes, but we always stop at one park along the St. Lawrence River...
One of our favourite places is Peggy's Cove in Nova Scotia...
Playing on the cliff tops in northern Newfoundland....
An Inukshuk in Labrador....
Checking out the Lobsters in Twillingate....
Watching for whales at Cape Spear, the easternmost point in North America....
....and finally, Canada Day at Cape Bonavista, Newfoundland....
