Part 2 of my 13″ Dianna Effner, Little Darling’s dress… you’ll like this!

Don’t forget tonight is when the Blue Diamonds and Barely Beige dresses for the American Girl dolls ends.

Here are the stats on the dresses as of 11:00p.m. Monday evening….

The Beige dress has 334 views and 25 watchers.

The Blue dress has 264 views and 28 watchers.

When I find out which dress goes the highest, I’ll put the names of those who picked that dress in a hat and draw out a winner… I’ll try and post that tomorrow… I hope I don’t forget…

Okay, so who thinks they know what they’ll see today for Lian?

If you guessed a jacket you were right! A very pretty jacket full of embellishments and even a touch of the fabric… Remember those purple scraps I showed yesterday? Those were ALL the scraps I had left after cutting out this wool felt jacket. I was cutting it kind of close, but this felt matched the fabric so well, I just HAD to make it work.

Here is some eye candy to start your Tuesday morning…

Do you like it so far?

I did some hand work using floss to pick up the fabric colors and made a nice floral design on one side of the jacket. The colors are spot on in person…

Adding the ruffle under the collar was an afterthought, and I tried to be as neat as I could when hand sewing it on, but there are the edges of the fabric showing underneath…

I think this is perfect for Fall and hope you like it…

Sometimes when I lay my dolls down, the light from above makes the colors just right…

I’ll try to get this one listed on Ebay as soon as I can.
