Oh, you’re going to enjoy these costumes… and quilts!

Julie is still standing in the same spot as she was on Friday… poor thing! I’m sorry, but my weekend was too jam packed with a funeral, company, alterations for Rebecca, and I have a stack of pictures and notes that I am in charge of putting together in a farewell scrapbook for someone. (I have a deadline for it so I HAVE to get it finished!) I’m going to have to be bailed out today…by Linda, but I’m sure you won’t mind! Everyone always enjoys seeing what she has her dolls dressed in.

This is what Linda said about her girls…

It took forever to get them all dressed, find everything, figure out what each one was wearing, etc. etc. but now I’m finished!

I had gotten Betsy a Little Red Riding Hood costume, so thought I would go with children’s stories for the theme. As you can see, I have the 40’s dolls dressed in Wizard of Oz costumes, kind of making it up as I went along, since I don’t have every costume from the story. Molly is Dorothy, Ruthie is the Wicked Witch and Susan is Glinda the Good. I had Kaya’s dog, Tatlo, and thought he would be a good wolf, and he was! However, Betsy doesn’t seem to afraid with that little smile on her face!

Felicity is an angel, wearing an AG costume and Cecile is wearing her Mardi Gras outfit, which I never have her wear for Mardi Gras, so I thought we could use it for Halloween.

The modern are also out for candy, Scarlett wearing a mermaid costume, which is one of the first AG costumes, and Ivy is Super Girl! I also decorated Molly’s table for trick or treaters who might show up at her house!

Didn’t Linda do a great job of getting her girls dressed? (Everyone say Yeeeessss!)
