I had my old Elizabeth out yesterday to see if her costume would fit on a BJD, and even though it might work on a Narae, her head would look shockingly out of scale, so it's not going to happen.
But then I had the idea to take some photos of Elizabeth in the castle window. She's never been photographed in a setting before. Of course I needed a more appropriate painting in the background, so printed out one of her father...
This doll was made in 1982. I used an inexpensive porcelain doll kit for the doll itself. She was Abigail Adams from a set of four First Ladies. I chose her to be Elizabeth because she had red hair in an upswept style. She won first place at the CNE doll dressing competition that year.
