I just want to thank everyone for their comments and messages of support. Over on Facebook there was well over a hundred yesterday. It means a lot to me.
Things have not improved with Jan as the hospital tries to figure out exactly what is wrong with him. I wish I could be there with him, but visitors are not allowed due to the current Covid19 crisis. Talking on the phone doesn't seem possible either, since he seems to have forgotten how to use his phone. I've asked if a nurse could help him, but I can imagine they are too busy.
Yesterday evening I was asked for permission to do a lumbar puncture, because they think he may have an infection in the brain.
And Monday morning had started out so well too - at least for me. There was a shipping notice from Iplehouse, and there was a fresh layer of snow to be taken advantage of. I went outside four separate times to take doll photos, and Jan commented on how much energy I seemed to have. Well, one has to take advantage when one can. then things went rapidly downhill....
I know Jan always loved looking at my photos, so have decided to just keep posting the 'Smiles for the Day', and add to the 'Toilet Paper Chronicles'. I have all the photos just sitting waiting in folders on the computer, so might as well post them. If anybody can use a smile these days it's me......
