Happy New Year 2019!

Happy New Year everyone! New Year is my favorite holiday of the year.  My family celebrates by putting up our New Year tree (with my friend Brooke!), watching an old movie called The Irony of Fate, and eating hot appetizers while we wait for the clock to strike midnight.  Once the new year has begun, we exchange small gifts and then go to bed. 

A few days before New Year's Eve, I made a gingerbread house! It was my first time doing so and it was so fun! I used icing to stick all the pieces together and then decorated the little house using candy.  I think it might become an annual tradition as it was really enjoyable.'
