Cut & Paste

When all the paint had been cleaned up, and the room was back in order...

"I'm sure you all love the colourful books by Eric Carle....like;  'Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?'; 'Polar Bear, Polar Bear. What Do You Hear?'; and of course, 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar',

"Did you know that Eric Carle makes all the pictures for his books by
​cutting and pasting pieces of paper that he's painted?"

"Well, that's what we are going to do now. We are going to make our own 'Hungry Caterpillar' pictures from the sheets of finger-painted paper we just made. You may use any of the finger-painted papers, even if it's not one you made yourself.

​We are going to share all of them. You can take any of the coloured sheets, cut off a piece, and then hang it back up so the next person can use it."

So they all started to work....cutting and gluing....
