Coloured Pencils

I'm still in the process of making artist props.  Jan cut up several very thin dowels and sharpened one end to a point. So now I need to paint them to look like coloured pencils....

It's a simple enough technique, but very time consuming, as I can only paint one end of each 'pencil' at a time. And then some need more than one coat of paint to cover nicely.  And then they all need at least one coat of varnish. So this will take a while.
