Mattel's Dominic Geddes stepping down after 19 years with the firm

Mattel has confirmed that after 19 years heading up the firm’s UK outfit, Dominic Geddes is stepping down from his role as country sales leader for the UK and Ireland.

Taking over the role will be Michael Hicks, an industry veteran who first joined Mattel in 2008, progressing rapidly within the Mattel UK sales organisation to become sales director in 2013.

More recently, he led the regional Toys R Us team as senior sales director.

Hicks will report to Sanjay Luther, managing director Europe.
