I'm still working on a new sweater for Steve. I had made a really nice one while we were camping, but it ended up being too small. And I even had Owen's sweater along for comparison. Oh well. Must be the different brand of yarn knits up a different size. I can't have Steve in a sweater that's too short in the body and in the sleeves, so I've started a new one.
It's the same brand yarn as the sweater set I made for Isis recently, and it's rather stiff to work with. It's interesting how every brand of sock yarn knits up differently, even when the gauge says the same number of stitches for a 10 cm square.
The sweater is an interesting mix of autumn colours...
I'm also finishing up a 'Harry Potter' scarf for the sweater set I knit for Eric recently.
Eric was just another BID who still needed a sweater and hat set, but those are fun to knit. Scarves are especially mindless, for knitting while listening to TV in the evenings. There's still a few more kids who need hats and sweaters too, so I won't be running out of things to knit anytime soon.
