Annual Spielwarenmesse ToyAwards opens for submissions

Next year marks the 15th anniversary of the ToyAwards by the Spielwarenmesse, with resignation for the ceremony opening next month.

Exhibitors at 2018’s show will get the chance to earn the accolade by entering their products by September 1st, 2017.

Each company will get the chance to submit up to three products for the four age-specific categories including baby and infant (0 to three years), pre-school (three to six years), school kids (six to 10 years) and teenager and adults (from 10 years).

A panel of professionals from the industry, including toy safety experts, educators, sales agents and market researchers will choose three products in each of the categories with the final 12 nominees being announced at the Main Press Conference on January 25th, 2018.

To celebrate the anniversary, the ToyAward logo has also been updated.

Each of the awards will be presented to the winners at the Opening Ceremony on January 30th, 2018.
