The Christmas Tree

My camera has been having issues, so our son-in-law insisted I borrow his and try it out to see how I like it. It's a Canon rebel T6i, and I put my own lens on it.

I'm not very technically minded so am a bit overwhelmed with trying to figure out the settings.  Right now it's set at Auto-ISO, which means it automatically adjusts to whatever ISO setting is needed depending on the light situation. My own camera only goes up to ISO-1600, and the photos are usually very grainy. My SIL's camera goes all the way up to ISO-6400, so what better time to try it out than on a dark rainy day. So I shot our tree....

His camera has amazing low light capability, but I think I still prefer the images taken with my own camera set on a timer on a tripod.....

So I guess the next step is to figure out how to do that with his....
